Meizu MX4 Announcement To Be Made Tomorrow

Meizu have released a new teaser on which a large “4″ can be seen as well as the date “8.18″. Now this does mean that we will see something from Meizu tomorrow, but what? Well, it could either be something regarding the Meizu MX4 or the new Flyme4 ROM. Whatever it will be, the biggest question is if they are about to release just some more information, or if a launch event is going to happen?

Well, a launch of the MX4 is unlikely in our opinion, as we have not seen any press invitations so far. So if it is going to be a launch it will probably be FlymeOS 4. It would certainly be exciting to see the next Flyme ROM launching even before Meizu’s next flagship phone. Whatever it will be, we won’t have to wait long anymore.

Another interesting thing that is going on is a new leak. A few new images have been posted online allegedly showing some advertising material regarding the Meizu MX4. It also could well be a part of the documentation for the phone. The interesting thing about it is, that it is showing some information about the camera used inside the Meizu MX4. It is going to be a Sony IMX147 sensor with 20.7 mega pixels and a fast auto focus doing its job within 0.3 seconds. This is the same camera sensor as used in the Sony Xperia Z2. Also some pricing is mentioned. The Meizu MX4 will apparently be priced at 2,499 Yuan – or at least one of the different models will be.
