Adonit is a company that makes some of the best iPad styluses on the market and now they’re releasing an app called Forge, to go with their hardware products. The software is designed to work with Adonit’s pressure-sensitive Jot Touch stylus.

The software works with any generic stylus and even the user’s finger, by the way. As the pictures integrated within the article show, the drawing app comes with five tools, a quick color selector and the rest of the screen pretty much empty for you to play with. The UI is minimalistic and feels a bit like Adobe’s Line and Sketch apps. You can change brush sizes and adjust color choices fast and in an intuitive way.

An interesting aspect here are layers. Forge’s support for layers is something that you can’t quite find in regular drawing apps, so that’s a welcome bonus. With Forge you can move a layer from one page to a new one and keep making new designs and sketches. The app is available for free, but there’s a limitation of how many files you can save. Or you can pay $3.99 and get rid of the limitation.

Meizu is starting to look mature in the smartphone market. Sure, the company's output has always been good, with high specs very much the focus. However, the Chinese brand has increasingly started building the whole package in its handsets and record sales through 2014 attest to that balance of design and hardware. The company's next flagship, the MX5 is going to continue that new remit and as you expect it will be a highly spec'd beast too.

Considering the MX4 flagship launched in September 2014, the follow up MX5 is probably still has a while to go before landing on the market. However, there are already rumors about the smartphone, with Chinese tech blog MyDrivers suggesting that the MX5 will come with a 5.5-inch 2K screen. On top of that, it will get the most powerful available MediaTek processor and 4GB of RAM.

The publication also adds that the MX5 will boast a fingerprint sensor, which is hardly a huge surprise considering more and more flagships are arriving with that feature. More interesting is the rumor that Nokia will be providing the camera technology and that it will be a 41 megapixel affair. Meizu and Nokia were reported to be in collaboration last month, and while rumors hinted it would be a smartphone the companies are working on, it now seems more likely it is the camera for the MX5.

As you may know, shortly after the Microsoft press event from January 21, on the web we started to see the Technical Preview version of Windows 10 operating system. Today, after a month since that moment we notice that another Tech Preview Build was leaked online, more precisely the 10022 version.

From the screenshots above we see several design changes like the fact that now in File Explorer, the number of frequent folders is limited to 4, and if OneDrive is configured as the default save locations, the Documents and Pictures folder in Quick Access will drive you to the equivalent OneDrive Version of these folders.

According to some sources, Microsoft will release a new Windows 10 build next month. However, once installed such a version, we won’t be able to do much, being more like a demo that allows us to see how the new Windows 10 looks like and feels.

OnePlus will break the promise it made to its customers last year when Google launched Android 5.0 Lollipop - namely that within three months from that point it would release an official update for the Onesmartphone. This is the company's first major Android update, and it hasn't handled things in a way that can please many people.

Through Carl Pei, its co-founder, OnePlus has today made it clear - Lollipop for the One will only come in March. The reasons for the delay are unclear.

This is true for the company's own ROM, called Oxygen OS, as well as CyanogenMod 12S. Both of these are based on Google's latest release, and they've both been delayed until next month.

Because Cyanogen, Inc. won't support OnePlus One devices sold in India with software updates, OnePlus has decided to create its own ROM for international markets - it will be available in parallel with CM12S, which will land as a consequence of the promise of two-year support made by Cyanogen for the One.

It's all rather confusing, but the short version is this: in March (if there aren't any more delays), you'll be able to update your One to CM12S from within CM11S, or try Oxygen OS if you so wish - though in that case you'll need to wipe your device and start fresh. An alpha build of Oxygen OS has been out for a while, but that's obviously not recommended for average users. Nor are CM12 nightlies, which have been available for the OnePlus One too.

Samsung has already reacted to these events – listening to the voices of users presents a new device. But this is just the next few months to show how much change to the approach of the Korean manufacturer – perhaps in a few years after the low-quality products, the lack of updates and hard cap only memories remain. The Asus Zenfone 2 was one of the major announcements at CES in the beginning of January, offering powerful hardware in a budget-conscious package. Aiming to diversify its component suppliers list, the Taiwanese company is set to release more versions of the smartphone, replacing the Intel chipset with Qualcomm and Mediatek offerings.

The original Zenfone 2 is equipped with either an Intel Atom Z3580 or Z3560 and 4GB or 2GB of RAM. The Qualcomm variant will sit in a lower-priced market segment, and will become available in Q2. The Mediatek-powered option will be targeted at markets like India where LTE capability can be omitted. Adding to the company's already less-than-obvious naming scheme, the new models may further complicate selection.

The specsheet of the smartphone is otherwise headlined by a 5.5-inch IPS display of 1080p resolution for a 403ppi density. A number of storage option will be available ranging from 16GB to 64GB. A 13MP/5MP camera combo is responsible for picture taking and the whole thing is powered by a 3,000mAh battery.

A detailed availability roadmap has also been revealed. The Zenfone 2 will first arrive in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, China, and surprisingly France, in March. Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Italy and the US will follow suit in April, while Japanese folks may get it in May. Brazilians will need to be even more patient and wait until June.

The specifications of the soon-to-be-revealed HTC One M9 (Hima) have leaked here and there, but now we have the full list of the phone's features thanks to the detective work of upleaks.

The phone is built around a 5" IPS display and packs 1080p resolution. At the back, the 20.7MP camera is confirmed and it will sport dual LED flash. For now, there's no information whether it'll record 4K video, but we will be surprised if it doesn't.

At the front, it will be backed by a 4MP UltraPixel camera, probably the same as the One (M8)'s. Contrary to previous rumors, the latest leak doesn't suggest a dual 20.7MP camera configuration at the back.

The HTC One (M9) draws processing power from a 64-bit Snapdragon 810 (MSM8994) chipset with a 2.0GHz quad-core Cortex-57 and a quad-core Cortex-A53 running at 1.5GHz. There's 3GB of fast DDR4 RAM and graphics are handled by the Adreno 430 GPU. HTC will offer the One (M9) in 32GB and 64GB flavors and the phone will run Android 5.0.2 Lollipop with Sense 7.0 out of the box.

We saw an allegedly official photo of the One (M9) next to the One (M9) Plus and caught the nicely designed BoomSound speaker holes. LTE 6 support will give users up to 300Mbps download and 50Mbps upload speeds. On the side, there's a microSD card slot.

The battery of the HTC One (M9) is 2,840mAh, which is 240mAh larger than its predecessor. We're yet to see how much of a difference this will make in our battery test. As a reminder, the One (M8) scored an endurance rating of 77 hours.

Upleaks reports three variations of the One (M9) - UHL, which will launch in Asia, Europe, Africa, UAE, Russia, Turkey, China(Mainland), USA(include AT&T, T-Mobile US, and Developer model), Canada(include ROGERS, TELUS), Latin America; the WHL for Sprint and China Telecom; and the WL for Verizon.

When HTC launched the Desire 626 in Taiwan earlier this week, there was no word on whether the device would be available in other countries. But now, it looks like the mid-range smartphone is heading to the US at least.

According to popular leakster @upleaks, the Desire 626 would be launched in the US as a prepaid smartphone by Sprint, which is the third-largest cellphone carrier in the country behind Verizon and AT&T.

For those who are not in the know, the device is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Cortex-A53 CPU and sports a 5" 720p display. It has 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, which is expandable via microSD card. The device sports a 13MP rear camera and 5MP front snapper, and packs in a 2,000mAh non-removable battery.

Tactus has beena round for a while, but their technology hasn’t quite taken off until their latest announcement. Let us introduce you to the Tactus Phorm, an iPad Mini case that can turn your flat touchscreen into a physical keyboard of sorts.

The case adds a film on top of your screen. After activating the physical keyboard, some button-like bubbles pop up on top of your keys. These provide actual tactile feedback and can be put away just as easily as they were activated.

Tactus aims to launch this product during the summer with a price of $149, but if you pre-order it you can get it for $99. They are also working on a version for the iPad Air, the iPhone 6+ and Android tablets.

Opinion: Physical keyboards have been phased out by the industry, but we know many of you still love the feedback and feel that an actual keyboard can offer. I don’t think it’s a replacement for solid, real keyboards, but the Phorm could be a good acquisition in an age in which keyboards don’t seem to be coming back.

Leaked document reveals possible release dates for new Galaxy S6 smartphones

Rumors of the new Samsung Galaxy S6 devices have been circulating like the strongest virus, but we haven’t heard about possible release dates until today. Well, they are not really release dates, but separate information that is likely to be related to large events.

A Samsung employee has leaked a document that displays some periods of time in which employees can’t ask for vacations. These would be March 22-30 and April 19-27. We are not sure why these blackouts are set in place, but we have to assume something big is happening within the company, and what is bigger than their flagship launches?

Opinion: We expect the original Samsung Galaxy S6 to launch first, in March, followed by the Galaxy S6 Edge in April. What do you think? Is this even about the Samsung Galaxy S devices?

Imgur gives everyone free Pro features

Imgur just turned six, and they have decided to simply go nuts and give everyone a Pro subscription! Well… it doesn’t quite work like that, but it does. Ingur will pretty much be killing its Pro subscription, which used to cost $23 a year. Then every user will get the Pro features for free, which the only downside being that now the service will be ad-supported for everyone.

Store an unlimited number of images in your account

Receive multiple thumbnail options on all uploads

Access complete image analytics and referrer data

Manage, edit or delete any uploaded image at any time

Interact with the awesome Imgur community through commenting, voting and sharing

Opinion: Now this is something to celebrate! Imgur has become a very powerful service for sharing images. A lot of us use it, so it makes sense to go free. After all, they will be getting quite a bit of profit from traffic revenue.
