It is coming with a real hardcore specifications as Elephone released its specifications. It has 4G LTE, Android 5.1, Mediatek 6755 Octa-core 2.0 GHz CPU, Mali 760 GPU, 4GB RAM, 16GB ROM, Extended storage 128GB, 5.5 inch Screen, FHD screen resolution 1920 x 1080 pixels, 21-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel front camera, 3100 mAh battery with 2-3 days backup. Another News confirmed that it has support for US networks, after Elephone is targeting US market specifically.
After seeing this specification, big expectation rising over the release. 4GB RAM and 21 MP rear camera are a real deal for a smartphone. But, a less known fact in this specification is the features of Mediatek 6755 Octa-core CPU.
Mediatek 6755 is the latest System on Chip release by Media Tek. This is an Octa-core processor with ARM cortex – A53 CPU which can be clocked up to 2.0 GHz. It is believed this Media Tek chip is equivalent to the snapdragon 810 chip which is also getting complaints about overheating issues.
MTK 6755 is running on ARM A53 CPU, which is a better CPU with good performance rate. MTK 6755 supports up to 21-megapixel camera and FHD resolution. The lesser SoC are not supporting 21-megapixel camera. Also, the MTK 6755 chipset supports recording the videos at 1080 pixel resolution with 30FPS.
