Libratone has revealed the new Zipp and Zipp Mini wireless speakers, both of which slim down and smarten up compared to the previous models.
The Zipp Mini’s main aim is portability and replacement covers that are zipped on are available for both in a wide range of colours, perfect for matching up with different rooms.
The Zipp Mini is a 60W unit, while the regular Zipp gives out 100W.
They have built-in WiFi and support Bluetooth, DLNA and Apple AirPlay connectivity.
New this time around is SoundSpaces, a feature that lets up to six speakers join forces for linked multi-room playback via the dedicated iOS and Android app.
Playback can be controlled through the new touch-sensitive controls which offer haptic feedback and they again carry Libratone’s 360 FullRoom Sound tech to make sure they fill the corners.
Both speakers launch October 22 on the Libratone website; the Zipp will cost £220 (US$340), while the Zipp Mini is a little less at £180 ($278).
