Which is better, Bose or Beats?

Beats is the marketing master in the headphones industry. It’s recognized world-wide as a high-end brand for audio products, a reputation any of its competitors would do anything for. For this reason, people perceive it as “the best” instead of seeing it for what it is – simply the most popular.

Now, this does not mean that the headphones are bad, they just happen to be a bit over-priced. This means you can often find higher quality headsets for the same price. If you are a fan of the brand and prefer their designs, you will find Beats headphones to be great.

Not to mention, these are great headphones compared to other average products. They are specifically known for their bass performance, which I must attest for. These headphones are loud and clear, and they will produce sounds you have never even noticed in your songs. Meanwhile, their bass makes your head rumble when playing a good tune.

Bose

Bose headphones may not look the best, keeping very classic aesthetics and bland colors (usually black, gray and silver). Their headphones are recognized by professionals all over the industry, though.

Their brand has literally become synonymous with quality, especially for those audiophiles that care for highs, lows, frequencies and the like. While their bass and volume are more leveled (less dramatic), keen ears will be able to recognize a quality that screams quality and is worth every penny spent.

So, who wins?

As with anything else, it’s all on your preferences. Those who value a powerful bass, awesome looks and the brand recognition, Beats will offer that, paired with good sound.

If you want the “best” in terms of sound quality, the whole industry will tell you you can do much better with Bose (or multiple other brands). Of course, this is all generally speaking. Some models and comparable products may show variated results.
