Sony unveils Xperia M2 Aqua
Sony is the king of waterproof devices, always touting the neat feature in all its high-end gadgets. The Japanese manufacturer has given no such love to their mid-end phones just yet, though. Enter the Sony Xperia M2 Aqua, the company’s first affordable smartphone to get the waterproof treatment.
The Sony Xperia M2 Aqua follows the same language design we have seen on the whole Xperia line-up. IT looks good and comes with modest specs, which include a Snapdragon 400 processor, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal storage, a 5.8-inch 540x960p display, 8MP/1.1MP cameras and a 2300 mAh battery.
Opinion: Not bad if Sony can hit the right price. Sadly, it won’t be available for everyone (at least at launch). The device is expected to hit Latin America, Europe and Asia Pacific come Autumn 2014.
