The information has been recently confirmed by an advert displayed in a store which shows off the HTC One M8 with either Windows Phone or Android operating system
Another piece of information confirmed via WPCentral is the fact that HTC One M8 for Windows will be exclusive to Verizon Wireless
Obviously, this doesn’t mean the smartphone won’t be launched in other countries as well, but it looks like the Big Red will be the first carrier to offer the HTC One M8 with Windows. There’s no word on price tag yet, but we suspect it will be available for around $200 (€150) or $300 (€225) on two-year agreements.
Specs-wise, the HTC One M8 with Windows is basically the original One M8’s twin brother, as both smartphones offer the same features in terms of hardware
When it comes to design, the Windows Phone handset will feature the same metal chassis
Still, there is another way that you can tell which of the two handsets runs Android and which comes with Windows Phone onboard. It looks like the HTC One M8 for Windows features the operating system’s logo on the back.
Other than that, there aren’t really any differences between the two smartphones. This means HTC One M8 for Windows comes equipped with a 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor
The smartphone will also pack 32GB of internal memory, as well as microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 128GB).
