Google releases Photo Sphere Camera for iOS
Apple may have many camera features, but Google aims to one-up them with an app dedicated solely to taking Photo Sphere images. These are Google’s 360-degree images, which offer a complete view of a specific location.
It works just like the Photo Sphere function on Android, so go get it from the Apple App Store if you want to check it out!
Opinion: Why would Google introduce such an app? Well, Photo Sphere is all about compatibility with Google’s services. Namely, Google Maps. iOS users are an important crowd, and it would only make sense to try and benefit from their contributions.
