Next up from Archos will be the Diamond Tab Android tablet, which follows their Diamond S smartphone revealed last week.
The Diamond Tab has a 7.9-inch IPS display with a 2048 x 1536-pixel resolution.
It runs on a Mediatek MT8752 octacore processor clocked at 1.7GHz.
The RAM count is a more than acceptable 3GB and internal storage is 32GB.
It supports 4G LTE connectivity as well as dual-band WiFi.
The OS out the box is Android 5.1 Lollipop and the only place it doesn’t shine is the cameras, which aren’t bad but don’t stand out at 5MP rear and 2MP front-facer.
The price however is good for all of the above at is will launch at £179 (US$275).
