Samsung seems to be planning to add another smartphone to its Core line-up in the form of Galaxy Core Prime. The phone has appeared at Indian e-retailer Flipkart ahead of the official announcement, which appears to be round the corner as the listing already includes the India price-tag of the phone – INR 8,499.
As per the Flipkart listing, Samsung Galaxy Core Prime will feature a 4.5-inch WVGA PLS display, 1.3GHz quad-core processor, Android 4.4.2 and 1GB of RAM. The phone will also come with 8GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, and 2000 mAh battery. On the imaging front, Core Prime will include 5MP rear camera with LED flash and 2MP front shooter.
The listing surprisingly doesn’t mention the presence of 3G or related network bands but it is unlikely. Also, we are still waiting for the Samsung’s announcement, so this listing could change.
Galaxy Core Prime will join the likes of Galaxy S Duos 3, Galaxy Core 2, and Galaxy Star Advance in Samsung’s entry-level smartphone portfolio in the country.
