The handset has made it to the headlines quite often over the past few months, and it is now in the spotlight once again, as we are getting closer to its possible unveiling on September 4 at the IFA 2014 trade show in Berlin.
Although no official confirmation on the matter has been provided, Microsoft has already announced plans to reveal a new product on that day, with the invitation hinting at great camera capabilities on the new device.
Thus, the upcoming phone has been said to sport a PureView camera, something that would fall in line perfectly with what was already said about the Lumia 830.
Some leaked images with the mobile phone have also emerged online in the past few days, further confirming that it will include a Lumia 1020-like camera, albeit one packing a smaller sensor.
As it turns out, Microsoft might plan on including two different cameras on this handset, one of which should be the already rumored 20-megapixel PureView sensor.
According to a recent tweet coming from TK Tech News, there will be three different Lumia 830 models released, and two of these will feature a smaller, 13-megapixel PureView camera.
The phone has been already said to arrive on shelves at wireless carriers in the United States in three different variants, but specific info on them is not available as of now, it seems.
However, should previous leaks on the matter pan out, the 20MP model might arrive on shelves at Verizon Wireless, with the other two variants set to be released on AT&T and T-Mobile. One of these versions will be released internationally, yet it remains to be seen which of them.
